1. Lodhi Fort: The historic marvel of Ludhiana is situated on the bank of Sutlej and is also famous as Purana Qila. It is more than 500 years old and was constructed by Muslin ruler Sikandar Lodi. The fort also has a connecting tunnel to the neighboring town Phillaur. Nowadays, Lodhi fort’s most of the structure has turned into ruins and the property has been declared as state protected monument in December 2013.

2. Maharaja Ranjit Singh War Museum: This museum has spreaded across the four acres land and was built in 1999 by the Punjab Government. This was established as a gesture of tribute to the soldiers. The major attraction of the museum is the light and sound show, narrating the story of war and gallant soldiers. There are various displays of battle tanks, Anti-craft guns and an INS Vikrant Model in the museum. This museum is located on the GT road of Ludhiana which is the main highway of Punjab and is easily reachable through various taxi services in Ludhiana if you are a tourist.

3. Phillaur Fort: It is located at the Grand Trunk Road in Phillaur and was designed by Dewan Mohkam Chand. The fort was transferred to the civil authorities in 1890 and since then it has been used as the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Academy after renaming it as Maharaja Ranjit Singh Fort by Punjab Government on 6 April, 1973. This fort is also a home to Pir Baba Abdullah Shah Ji’s Shrine and Muslim’s consider this place as holy place as it contains several tombs of Muslim icons and members of Shah Shuja’s family.

4. Tiger Safari: Ludhiana zoo, mainly famous as Tiger Safari was established in 1993 and is the perfect picnic spot for the family. In the dense forest of safari, you can see tigers, black bucks, rabbits, deer and peacocks wandering and roaming freely. The whole area is 25 acres and you can enjoy the thrilling experience there. 5. Clock Tower: It was established in 1906 and is the last surviving landmark from the pre-Independence arena. Clock tower is a memorial landmark remembering the retired Punjab Agricultural University professor Amarjit Singh Hayer and Central University Bathinda Chancellor Sardara Singh Johl. The tower was built during the British rule on Grand Trunk Road which led up to Peshawar.
