1. Lodhi Fort: The historic marvel of Ludhiana is situated on the bank of Sutlej and is also famous as Purana Qila. It is more than 500 years old and was constructed by Muslin ruler Sikandar Lodi. 3. Phillaur Fort: It is located at the Grand Trunk Road in Phillaur and was designed by Dewan Mohkam Chand. The fort was transferred to the civil authorities in 1890 and since then it has been used as the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Police Academy after renaming it as Maharaja Ranjit Singh Fort by Punjab Government on 6 April, 1973. This fort is also a home to Pir Baba Abdullah Shah Ji’s Shrine and Muslim’s consider this place as holy place as it contains several tombs of Muslim icons and members of Shah Shuja’s family.
